I was talkin to transition at kill mill, and we both mentioned up how we were itching for an azfixed jersey. He was hoping to rep one at an ironman triathlon coming up, and I i will be doing a few cycling trips this summer as well (ride the rockies, and hopefully a few days in july at the velodrome). I dont know if this should wait till the azfixed design logo contest is over, but i would be willing to do some of the organizing for a jersey order. I suppose we could use the same format as the current jersey, but i think it would be appropriate to reserve that design for those who actually participated in the MS150 ride. any ideas?sorry kdub. this better?

They better have the font made of penis'. I will definitely rock whatever you guys come up with at my races in NY this fall for sure, but could they possibly be made without that weird grid that's on the front? Sometimes the plainer the jersey is the better. For example, the Cervelo kits look way cleaner than the Strada ones, partially because they are much more simple and don't try to accomplish a whole lot.

I have an idea. You will either love it or hate it. Have the cut of the jersey look like either a wife beater or a deep V neck T Shirt with rear pockets of course.I am not bald, my hair is living in Reseda

I was going to make a joke jersey like that at one point, but then I realized I'd actually want to wear it all the time in situations where the irony wouldn't be apparent.

Conrad (cloud) and I were talking about this as well. There needs to be a non MS150 jersey that reps AZfixed. I'm sure they will sell for sure. Also as Jesse stated, the bibs/shorts would be a definite plus as well.My other skateboard is a fixed gear.

we could add button's or velcro to option in our favorite studded cod pieces, for aerodynamics of course.

we need to talk to whoever order the ms150 jerseys about getting the actual jerseys at wholesale or near wholesale prices in bulk. it obviously won't take any time to choose the design as we have so many good ones being worked on right now in addition to other ideas. we should also get them done in more than 1 color. i'd personally buy more than one if we got them done in more than one color. a batch of new t-shirts/cycling caps with our logo's could be cool too but that's another conversation.

^^^Chris and I used Vomax for our MS150 jerseys, since they donated a portion of the jersey sales directly the MS Society. I'd like to go with something higher quality like Castelli or something, if we decided to do new AZfixed kits. The Vomax "jersey template" seemed very limited as far as layout/design.

Do you mean like a red azfixed kit, a blue azfixed kit, etc etc? That'll get very expensive. Fast.

If I could get shorts/a bib with the "I Fuck Like A Beast" saw cod piece that that dude from W.A.S.P. had, I would wear it even if I was riding to the store. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!

Yo we on this run like Logan
  3.
my vote and suggestion would be not unlike the MS set up, find a neutral color jersey that will match anyone's bibs. (black is always in fashion style) Making bibs will be expensive real fast. Like new bike price expensive. The jerseys could be done. and yes i would wait until the new logo has been decided.SKFrames ...what i do with my free time

hell yeah on the cycling caps. shorts/ bibs would be cool, but sk is correct on them being a little pricey. I could talk to whoever did our shop jersesys and ask about pricing (i think we were able to get bibs relatively cheaply, but they aint castelli). I know PMBC worked with primal wear for their kits, so i could investigate that as well.
What about doing kinda an old timey wool jersey. like a black background with a white stripe across the chest that says azfixedsorry kdub. this better?

I don't know if anyone else has looked into this, but I have. Custom jerseys will run each person a minimum of $65, with shorts/bibs being at least that. On top of that, that's usually for an order of at least 15, usually the min is 25. Through sponsorship, I got the cost of the MS-150 jerseys down to $25 per person and sold out of all 37 I ordered. Doing it again, I'd go with someone other than VOMax, probably Giordana or Castelli like Jeremy said. All this is fine if someone wants to front the cash and hope that they all sell to make up their cost, I was not in that position - I had 75% of them paid for before I placed the order. That said, an AZFixed jersey would be awesome! I'd totally be in on it. Maybe we could have some AZFixed fund-raisers to supplement the cost, or have some more sponsors. I had to work mine up in a week, with some more time I'm sure we could get some great shops and supporters to rally up behind us. Let's do this.this space intentionally left blank

I don't know about you guys but a jersey's sufficient for me, not necessarily a full kit. two colors of a full kit would be expensive i'm sure but if they were only jerseys, a white version and a black or grey version perhaps they would be possible and affordable? i mentioned caps and tee's before but not to be included directly with this.

Im all over that. Im sure you could get people who wanted to order one to pre pay, so that at least a good chunk of the order would be paid for up front, without one person having to suck up the entire cost until they get made+sold.

I want a full on kit! The jersey seems naked with plain bibs/shorts, since there were so many sponsors on the jersey. i would also second the vote for higher quality, our team jersey wasn't bad (but the club cut is kind of lame, especially since most people on here wear tighter fitting clothes), but the other vomax jersey i got for raising $500+ fell apart after the first wash. I also second that it should be a completely different design, and wait for the new logo, so there is some unity between the site and the official site kit.

Mentally think of a list of all the people that would want buy one. Then cull that down with those that can afford $150 for a full kit. Then divide that by 2 to find how many will actually pay for one. Then take about 75% of those that will pay up-front for one. You can double that number if you just want jerseys ($65). Are there 25 people left? Probably not. Whoever is going to head this up, if you want jerseys & bibs, expect to have a lot of $$ tied up in them for a while. Trust me, even though I had sponsors and pre-pays, I had some money of mine on the line until the last few jerseys sold. Good news: they all did! That sounded depressing. I don't mean to strike fear into anyone, just to inform. If whoever is taking the lead on this wants to compare figures from the MS-150 just message me. OH, and count me in as one of the 25.this space intentionally left blank

Castelli quotes: Minimum of 50 kits must be ordered. It's normally 75 but the guy was able to get it down to 50. Jersey's will be $55 each. Bibs will be $95 each. You have to put down a $500 "art deposit", which is required for reworks or redesigns, but it goes towards your final total. After the final design/order is approved, you have to put down 50%. From there it's about 8 weeks until the kits are done. So each kit is going to be right at $150. So we're looking at a total $7500 for the entire order. $3750 of which is due before the kits are made. Sounds pricey, which it is, but $150 for a kit is not bad at all.
