Posted By: Fit as shit!Watch Craigslist and you can get that bike or one of similar quality complete for about the price that frame and fork are going for. I have done it many a time.
Usually if you are doing a conversion part of the reason is to keep it within a reasonable budget. In order to do that, it is almost always better to buy a complete bike with parts you know are compatible to the bike and to each other. Often you can complete the conversion keeping the majority of the original parts intact. It's a big money saver and less of a headache.
