edit: wait. i thought you said "all road bikes and all kits"

    carry on...

But if I recall correctly, it was still 2 fixies that took top honors...Keith and Chad FTW! Thumbs up to that and thumbs down to the BB's (Boner Bikes)

Wait, are you the Steve who had the really really sweet fixed gear? Kind of goldish/silverish?
If you are, HELLL YEAHHH! I thought this whole time you were a different Steve.

Who was riding a "goldish/silverish" fixie Wednesday night? It certainly wasn't me, nor would I classify any of my rigs as "really really sweet"....although most will argue that I am "different" ;-)I have nicer cars at home!

Not Wednesday night, I was still talking about the AzFixed 1yr. Anniversary PISS ride, in May, which was also my last PISS ride. There was a cool new guy there named Steve, who had a sweet fix-it. He didn't do the hills and met up with the A-group at the church... Probably wasn't you, never mind.

^^^^so I'm curious...do you feel like you lost muscle mass as well when you lost that weight or retrained it and had a vast improvement in your strength to weight ratio?I have nicer cars at home!

Lost some definitely, but I used to compete in powerlifting at 240 lbs. Most of what I lost was upper body and around the waist and unfortunately my thighs stayed almost the same size. I am sure that I lost leg muscle mass as well, but in all of my tests (HR, Hill TT, Sprint Watts, 10 minute LT HR, general perception) I got a lot stronger. At 6 foot 3 I don't think its ideal to lose anymore if I want to retain my current amount of strength. Right now I am trying to gain 5 lbs in the off season with the sole idea that I will probably lose most of it during the early part of base training and end up right where I want to be when racing starts. I'm no climber, but I'm hell of a lot better than I was at 195 I will tell you that. During my last training cycle I lost 7 lbs and knocked 3 minutes off a 24 minute hill climb TT so something worked.

^it looks like the last year for super record was 87. and the guy i bought the bike from said it was either an 87 or 88. I found a website stating that super record cranks had a square with a number in the middle. which my cranks have. So im guessing its super record.

Jesse...this race was made for you:

    Death Valley Road Stage Race

"Stage One - 55 miles, 8,200' of climbing, nearly flat finish after long descent.
Stage Two - 22 miles, 6,200' of climbing, uphill finish after 20 mile climb.
The whole race is climbing and descending! No bogus FLAT miles!"

    http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=9199

    And then...there's this one:

Everest Challenge Stage Race - CA/NV State Climbing Championships
"Total climbing is 29035' with 122 miles Saturday and 86 miles Sunday."

I know they still make it. the website was old so i was assuming that maybe for a little while in the late 80's and early 90's they didnt make super record? I also dont really see any early 90's super record stuff when I am looking around on the web. I dunno.I heard this is all road bikes now.
