Contador won't attack in the Alps this weekend, but I predict that Evans might. Contador has most everyone in the Pyrenees, but I would expect the lesser climbers to try and put a little bit more time into him. Ya, I think Andy could be the dud of this Tour. The standings are pretty close right now so it should be good. Wiggins is only 50 second down from Schleck and you also have Van den Broeck and Menchov in there as well who have the potential to do something cool in the mountains. I'm gunna hold out on Lance, I don't think he will surprise in the climbs. What?
A flat out and back time trial with 20 k and 40 k options. The course is out and back with less than 50 feet of elevation change, straight with one turn.

Where?
Registration and start at the Mesquite Grove Assisted Living building, 16286 S. Sunland Gin Rd. Arizona City.

From Tucson take I-10 north to exit 203 then go south on S. Toltec R. Turn west on W. Battaglia Dr. Take Battaglia Dr to S. Sunland Gin Rd. Go south on S. Sunland Gin Rd to the start area.

From Phoenix take I-10 south to exit 200 then go south on S. Sunland Gin Rd to the start area.

When?
June 20, July 11 and August 8, 2010 Registration is from 5:30-6:30 am. First rider off at 7:00am.

The August 8 date will include an open 40K Team Trial. Teams of 4 riders (or 3). The clock stops when the 3rd rider of the team crosses the finish line. Registration price applies per person on the team.

How Much?
$20 registration. Juniors $3. One day licenses $10. Buy a new annual USAC license and ride this race for free. Saguaro Velo members get free entry to all Saguaro Velo events.

Prize List
Bragging rights only. Series champions win a t-shirt. The Lerua's TT Series combines with the Lerua’s Mountain TT series combine to make the Sedona Getaway Series. Combined point totals from the two series add up to a trip to Junipine Resort in Sedona for the top male and female.

Preregistration
Pre-registration is available. We'll do in-person pre-registration the night before each race from 4-7 pm at Lerua's Mexican Restaurant, 2005 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson.

Sorry, no mail in registration.

Categories
We'll run all categories listed as eligible for state championships (Juniors by age, Seniors by category, Masters in 5 year increments). We also have a fixed gear category (separated by gender only) and a mountain bike category (also gender only). Recumbents (faired and unfaired) welcome.

You must ride at least two of the three TTs to win the ACCC points series. Points 10 for first – 6 for second and 4 for third - are accrued per category/per distance so sign up for all races in the same category/distance. You must enter all three ACCC’s plus Mt Lemmon and Kitt Peak TT’s to win the Sedona Weekend getaway.Recovering Triathlete

Interesting transfer news for next season:

Saxo Bank is folding, Leave Riis without the Schlecks and most likely Jens, Cancellara, and the Sorensen brothers.

Specialized and Sun-Guard are now rumored to be stepping in with Riis to make some sort of team, with Specialized focused on keeping Contador on their bikes. Contador is rumored to bring 4 or 5 Spaniards with him wherever he goes. Astana will be basically Vino in that case.

Caisse and Milram are folding, possibly Bbox as well, leaving a whole heap of riders to sign with other teams.

Greipel is leaving HTC and supposedly bringing 3 other riders as well. Rumored to be heading to Omega Pharma. Grabsch is also leaving HTC.
