I think the only bike related item I've got recently was a post-ride espresso at Bike Haus, in a dialed Assos espresso cup. NBD.

Those wheels are going to ruin your cycling experience. I got some wannabe retro Rapha rip-off Giro gloves a few months back that I dig as well.

I'll have good pictures up this week once all the parts are here and my back is better and I will have a ride report as well, but after 4 hours on it today I can confirm that it is a lot stiffer, a lot better handling, a lot better descending, a lot snappier, and a ton smoother than the Tarmac with all the same parts. I don't really understand it. Even with the ISP it seems as if there was almost no road vibrations yet it felt quite a bit stiffer. Now that I'm over did my manorexia I might ww it out a bit.

Throwing down some ebay bids. Elite seat post, i may wait for a Masterpiece. Dont know if 30 grams is worth the extra $. Replacing the stock post on my Tarmac Pro.

Also Zero Gravity Ti brakes. Cost about as much as DA 7800 or 7900 or SRAM red. If they suck i will Ebay them back. This will replace the BR-5500 brakes.

i heard the 2010 and newer zero gravity brakes are much better than the older ones. They changed up almost everything and hear they actually work and are lighter. I have kcnc's and they suck but are pretty light

My Dad has the ones with the new cam and they still aren't the best, but a lot better. And only the Negative GSLs or Gravitas are really that powerful.

Also, to Jesse and anyone else running lightweight brakes- if you use Alligator I Link brake cables and some good pads, like Swiss Stop greens, your braking power will boost substantially. You will also save marginal grams from the cables, but this combo has my bike braking better in the wet than 7800 brakes with Shimano pads in the dry.

I ride an 11-28 already and it offers basically two climbing gears. My bike does not have a seatpost and Sram does not make stems. I sense the sarcasm, which I would usually find amusing except for the fact that you don't actually know me.

K Dub are there any good places we could film ourselves getting coffee near the foot of the alps? Or any flowing streams we could stop and frolic in? The Rapha dudes seem to love both even though doing either in the middle of a ride automatically makes the ride terrible.

I have a map that shows the aquaduct/fountain network built by Napoleon, so I saw we film a like 45 seconds of climbing in a huge gear, stopping at one of the fountains then flashing some old war re-enactments, and sipping espresso while looking up at the fog covering the mountain peaks.

Has anyone seen their Lion of Flanders documentary by Rapha. So fucking retarded.

Yeah, I don't think I could have built this in tempe.

I'm going to spend the next month expanding on it and basically trimming the woods so that there is an infinite possibility of routes. There's at least an acre that I haven't even touched yet. I think I can get the course to well over a mile in length without crossing itself. Barriers are easy to move around since I just use fallen trees or branches. I'm going to host a CX camp here in September.
