    Alright so before the tour started I felt it might be fun to start some shit talking and get a good fantasy league going. To make things more competitive and get more people in tune, I think it would be fun to put a money pot together for those interested in joining the 2012 Tour of France fantasy league. What so you all think? $5.00 USD buy in? More?

    Winner takes all and they get to have a special sig on their Azfixed account for 1 year that states they're the FIXIE FAMOUZ person of the year.

    ^^The Schlecks or The Shack?...None of which have amounted to shit this year...disappointing for sure! Hoping they do better in the tour though....at least Cuntador won't be there .....HA!I have nicer cars at home!

    There's technically more summit finishes than last year, but it'll probably still come down to the two TTs. Still a better route than 2010 though.

    Schlecks. I like watching Contador race, at least he attacks. The Giro was boring as fuck this year because almost nobody had any balls to go for it- they'd all dig for like 100m and then sit up.

    Giro had a couple good stages...but yeah..pretty boring. Rodiguez's end of stage attacks on climbs...damn...still gotta respect the tactics and ability to execute even if it is a bit boring.I have nicer cars at home!

    there is no data to suggest Contador rode any race after 2010 with any sort of physiological advantage- his rivals in the Giro were just weaker or more of diesel type climbers that can't respond to attacks. His VAM wasn't any higher than Hesjedal's this year and far lower than Lance's during his prime.

    Rodriguez is a fun rider to watch and I'm surprised he made it that far and the gap between them was that small at the end.

    I beat CT because he didn't have Scarponi, Cav or Henao and Scott because he didn't have Henao or DeGendt. If DeGendt didn't win that stage I woulda been last, but having 1st place, winners of 7 stages, and the best young riders jersey locked it up.

    I'm in for $5, but for some reason I feel that Velogames is rating the riders with lower point counts now. I don't remember being able to have such stacked teams before.

    This isn't going to be very competitive..

    Andy is officially out of form and so is even Nibali.

    So, Evans and Wiggins.

    Cavendish will try for the green but something tells me he's more for the stages as hes preparing for the Olympics. Sagan will take the sprinter jersey because he'll shed cav on the harder days.

    Question is, who's going to be the 2012 oddball- (2010 Chavanel, 2011 Voeckler)

    Don't count Nibali out just yet. Gesink, De Gendt, Menchov, Martin, and a few others can easily round out the podium.

    There isn't a single climbing stage in the Tour that is as hard as stage 5 and stage 6 of the Dauphine. Its probably going to be a lot more boring on those stages than one might think, but it seems as if Sky and Wiggins are the team to beat, however, Cadel has that fighting spirit that can earn him some valuable time going on the attack, for the stage win, etc. Its yet to be seen how Wiggins can handle that third key week so who knows really? I'm just hoping its not a done deal yet. I worry less about Wiggins and more about his team being up to the task of potentially being on the front after stage 9 if he takes yellow in the TT.

    Chavanel isn't really that much of an oddball I'd say, but I'd predict some kind of second tier soloist/climber to perhaps hold the jersey for a few days till maybe stage 15 after some team lets them get a bit too much time thinking that they're safe from the TT.

    Chavanel fucked me a few years ago when he attacked and kicked ass. So I picked him the next year and he fucked me by phoning it in. I picked Rodriguez last year because he looked good leading up to the race. How long did it take before he showed up, like stage 17? Kloden kicks ass for Lance till I put him on my team. So who, other than the GC contenders are currently racing as training rides? I figured that was the Schlecks MO until he rode like me on the PISS ride. Has Caveduch finished a race this year? It appears that every team races with half of their TDF team members. It makes it difficult to judge individual performance when half of the competition is at another race.     cyclingfans.com will have a buttload of streaming links and cyclingtorrents.nl will have every stage uploaded in almost every possible language.

    I use an HDMI adapter to stream to my TV.

    Well, not with a Mac at this time. You will need an HDMI cable and possibly the adapter bitch to plug it into your laptop. That's how I usually watch my shit when I'm not at work.

    I recently pulled the trigger on dish. unfortunatly i had to get tue 250 tier 3 steps above basic to get NBCSPORTS. Then an additional $9.99 for the sports package jusT to ge UNIVERSAL SPORTS. I did get the sling adapter thatallows me to watch live tv or anything on my DVR with a phone or computer. I have watched couple races at work but it fucks up alot.I am not bald, my hair is living in Reseda

      NBC usually has a good ap where you can watch the stages. Just search for "tour de france" during the beginning of July.

      Its a bit boring this year if you think about it and we all have the same strategies. Most of our teams have both GC hopefuls, another good TT'er, then fill out the rest with guys that we know from breaks. I hope that this means that the Tour will play out in a completely unpredictable manner and its settled on the last day with me victorious again.

      Me dawg. My project is based in Zambia, which is a non-communist country btw, so I can totally have work/Africa/poor people pride and whatnot. Its also a homage to my longstanding goal of finding a bunch of ridiculously fit Africans, putting them in a training camp at altitude, and then letting them woodshed all the honkies Cool Runnings style.

      Most people have exactly the same strategy- pic Evans and Wiggins, add a good TT'er, fill out with token domestiques. I know that's why I picked Evans, Wiggins, Cancellara, Martin, Sanchez, and the random Rabobank dudes
